Masaki Okada is acclaimed in a duel role as an attractive go go boy and the former manager who has an affair with the wife of an author (played by Sadao Abe).

“Kinky Boots” (2016) Japanese production version/performance libretto: Goro Kishitani. Starring Teppei Koike, Haruma Miura. Based on the movie “Kinky Boots,” this Broadway musical with songs by Cyndi Lauper and a script by Harvey Fierstein has been staged all over the world. Miura shows off his excellent dancing and singing skills in his spirited take on the role of drag queen Lola.

One of the great world novels, and considered along with King Lear and Moby Dick to be one of the three great tragedies of English literature, Emily Bronte’s work is brought to the stage by Maki Horitaka, Kouji Yamamoto, and Keiko Toda. Maki Horitaka takes on the role of a woman who was raised wild and who, lacking her own personality, lives only for love.

“Brocken Spectre” (2015). Written and directed by Yutaka Kuramochi. Starring Naoto Takenaka, Katsuhisa Namase, Nozomi Sasaki, and Keiko Takahashi. A strange and wonderful comedy with Naoto Takenaka and Katsuhisa Namase. In her stage debut, Nozomi Sasaki takes on the difficult role of a character with two personalities.
