Planetariums are a bit of a cliche when it comes to romantic dates. But now, things are changing, and young Japanese couples are returning to a certain planetarium for a never-experienced-before trip to a new generation planetarium.
Welcome to a planetarium where ultra high-definition stars projected by a ‘MEGASTAR-Ⅱ’ projector. You can enjoy the high-resolution sound fusion event ‘Sound Planetarium -VOYAGE-’ navigated by popular Japanese drama and movie actress Nao Matsushita. This planetarium combines high-quality high-resolution sound with stunning planetarium visuals so that guests can feel like they themselves are taking a magnificent journey through space. Hence, this planetarium is hot at the moment because it provides an experience like none before it.
The term high-resolution here is used in a similar way as for visuals, such as high-resolution screens. The high-resolution sound employed at this planetarium is no less than 6.5 times the quality of CD audio!
‘MEGASTAR-Ⅱ’ is the name of the planetarium projector that can project 10,000,000 stars! This is used along with Sony’s top of the range speakers ‘SS-AR1’, and high-performance amplifier ‘TA-A1ES’. All of these are what have plenty of young Japanese people excited to visit. And on top of all of that, the BGM throughout the show includes songs by the aforementioned Nao Matsushita and popular Japanese singer JUJU. So it is even all the more attractive for J-POP fans.
Go and see this groundbreaking planetarium made possible by the latest advancements in technology on your trip to Japan!
